Terms of use

By using the PostAPI.lt website and API (the “Service”), you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to comply with them.

1. Service provider and copyright

  • The Service is provided and the website is operated by Frento IT, MB (company code 304732495).
  • Copyright in the website content, the API database and the documentation belongs to Frento IT, MB, unless stated otherwise.

2. Permitted use

  • The Service and the data returned by the API may be used only in your own website, application or system for address search and postcode lookup.
  • Without prior written consent from Frento IT, MB, you may not copy, collect or store the data as a separate dataset, modify, distribute or transfer it to third parties, or use it as part of a standalone product.
  • You may not use the Service in a way that overloads or disrupts it, circumvent request limits, or share your API key with third parties.

3. Free plan

  • When using the free plan, you must display a link to PostAPI.lt in a visible place (below the postcode or address field): “Postcode integration - PostAPI.lt” (linking to https://postapi.lt).
  • Frento IT, MB may change the conditions and technical limits of the free plan or discontinue it. We aim to give advance notice of material changes.

4. Data accuracy and limitation of liability

  • The data comes from reliable sources and is updated regularly, but we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Verify the data yourself where it matters.
  • The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by mandatory law, Frento IT, MB is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the Service, service interruptions or inaccurate data.
  • We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites that we link to.

5. Breach of the terms

  • If these terms are breached, Frento IT, MB may restrict or terminate access to the Service without notice or compensation.
  • Unauthorised use of the data or content may be treated as copyright infringement and may result in civil, administrative or criminal liability under applicable law.

  • We may change these terms and the website information. The current version is always published on this page, and by continuing to use the Service you accept the changes.
